Diamond in old Torrance |

With new owners/management & updated decor, I was happy to return after 5-years to find that this Rodizio ranks amongst the top 3 that I've ever been to. Number one is Marius in Rio de Janeiro, number 2 & 3 are disputed between Greenfield and this little gem, where I was surprised to find the meat to be very tasty, except for the skirt steak (had a liver taste) and pork loin "cubes" (tough and not seasoned enough to bring out the pork flavor). As far as the Picanha, it's the best I've had here in Los Angeles out of all of the Rodizio's in the area. The hot & cold buffet, including the feijoado, was varied and delightful with more of an authentic taste than Greenfield and definitely better tasting and better priced than Fogo de Chao, which was a waste of time, money and taste buds. Don't pass up the classic caipirinha with cachaca and lime. The atmosphere is quaint and the walls exhibit the works of local artists. Cost for buffet with unlimited meat is around $30, so make sure you build-up an appetite before you go to make the most of your carnivore dreams. Bom apetite. |

Good food: good value |

I've only had their lunch hot buffet and salad bar. It's the closest thing I've had to homemade brazilian food or a typical local brazilian restaurant here in California. It has an ordinary family style restaurant atmosphere, so it is not in the same category as the big fancy churrascarias. |
